Library Session Outcomes

After completing the Plagiarism Prevention Workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Define plagiarism and describe its importance.
  • Avoid plagiarizing.
  • Understand the concept of common knowledge.
  • Use paraphrasing and quotes properly with correct citations.

Welcome!

This Library Guide is organized into information pertinent to plagiarism prevention. There will be tasks that go along with most of the tabs that will be completed at the library instruction session. The activities and tests you complete will be de-indentified and then used for research purposes. If you have any questions or concerns about this, please contact Lola or Bree.
